Rebecca Paez
Rebecca is working in the industry as a production and post production audio engineer, as well as a video editor. She’s been a crew member on many local competition shorts, winning best film and honorable mention. She’s also worked on several local film projects.
Rebecca started out as a classical musician and played French horn for 15 years before switching career paths and going to school at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, earning a bachelor’s degree in Digital Filmmaking and Video Production, with an emphasis on audio and video editing. While in Pittsburgh, she worked on both features and shorts, and became the sound department intern for the Nickelodeon television series “Supah Ninjas”.
Rebecca enjoys spending what little free time she has with her family, reading, writing, and watching movies
